Who we are

What we collect
When you create an account and use HeartForm, we collect:
- Your email address
- Your responses to the setup questions (spiritual background, personal goal, and related information)
- Your app settings including language and notification preferences
- The devotional prompts generated for you and your engagement with them
How we use your information
Your information is used solely to generate and deliver your personalized formation series. Your setup responses are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your daily prompts. Your initial setup responses and the prompts generated for you are stored in a secure database. This content is never shared with or sold to anyone. On occasion the developer may access this information to monitor app quality and resolve technical issues. It is never used for any other purpose.
Anthropic and Claude
HeartForm uses Claude, an AI service provided by Anthropic, PBC, to generate your personalized content. Your profile information (spiritual background, goal, and related responses) is transmitted to Anthropic's API for this purpose. Anthropic's privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/privacy.
Data storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase. Data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the app (Settings → Delete account), or by following the instructions on our account deletion page.
Push notifications
If you enable push notifications, we store the technical information necessary to deliver notifications to your device. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
Children
HeartForm is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The date at the top of this policy reflects the most recent update.
